The Welcome Center

Together We Welcome: Supporting Every Journey, Strengthening Our Community

The Welcome Center at the Hispanic Health Council provides a welcoming, culturally responsive, and supportive space for immigrants, refugees, and families relocating to Greater Hartford.

Through coordinated services, trusted partnerships, and community-based support, we help newcomers access essential resources, overcome barriers, build meaningful connections, and establish a strong foundation for life in Connecticut.

About the Welcome Center

A Community-Based Approach to Integration, Empowerment, and Belonging

The Welcome Center, coordinated through the Hispanic Health Council's Family Wellness Center, supports immigrants, refugees, and newcomers as they establish their lives in Greater Hartford.

Our approach goes beyond connecting individuals with services. We help families navigate community resources, build meaningful relationships, develop skills, and find opportunities for stability and belonging.

Grounded in a holistic model of well-being, the Welcome Center recognizes the importance of physical, emotional, social, educational, and economic needs in supporting successful community integration.
